Directorate of Technical Education, Government Technical Education of Tamil Nadu conducting technical examination in Commerce Subjects in Typewriting, Shorthand and Accountancy, twice a year during the months of February and August. After publications of results, certificates are directly issued to the respective Commercial Institutes. In respect of private candidates, the certificates are sent to the individuals directly.

Government Technical Examinations in Commerce Subjects - August 2018 Notification
Tamil Nadu Government Technical Examinations in Commerce Subjects (Typewriting, Shorthand and Accountancy) will be held during the month of August 2018.
- The eligible candidates from the Govt. approved Commerce (Typewriting) Institutions and Private candidates can apply. The Application can be downloaded from 12.06.2016 from the web site mentioned in the table.
- All the details and instructions as to the filling up of application, eligibility (age and educational qualification), examination fee etc. can be downloaded from the Website (http://www.tndte.gov.in/site/).

- Cost of Application / Registration fee and Examination fee should be remitted in the Indian Bank. Counter foil of the challan should be enclosed with application.
