1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) - 300 Posts

1. Electrical and Electronics Engineering – 91% (273 Candidates) 
2. Electronics and Communication Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering – 7% (21 Candidates) 
3. Computer Science/ Information Technology Engineering – 2% (6 Candidates)

2. Assistant Engineer (Civil) - 25 Posts

• Date of Notification: 14/02/2018 
• Last date for submission of applications and for uploading the documents and payment through electronic mode: 28/02/2018 
• Last date for payment of Fee through bank challan (Canara Bank/ Indian Bank / Indian Overseas Bank): 03/03/2018 
• Date and Time of written examination for the post of Assistant Engineer/Electrical and Assistant Engineer/Civil will be notified shortly in www.tangedco.gov.in. Candidates are requested to assess the site then and there to be informed of the same. 

AgeLimit (as on 01.07.2017):

• Minimum - 18 years 
• No Age limit 
• ‘Others’ [i.e candidates not belonging to SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BCO and BCM]: 30 years (should not have completed)

Educational Qualification (as on 14.02.2018) 

Candidates should possess the following qualification Sl.No Name of the Post Qualification 

1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) 

• A Bachelor degree in EEE/ECE/EIE/CSE/IT Engineering OR 
• A pass in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Electrical Engineering Branch 

2. Assistant Engineer (Civil) 

• A Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering OR 
•  A pass in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Civil Engineering Branch
