REVISED SCHEDULE
FOR TANGEDCO (TNEB)
OMPETITIVE WRITTEN
EXAMINATIONS
The Competitive Written Examinations in Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution
Corporation Limited for Direct recruitment as per Notification No.1/16 dated 28.02.2016 and
Notification No.2/16 dated 29.02.2016 through Anna University scheduled on 22.05.2016 and
during April/May 2016 has been postponed due to model code of conduct.
In this regard, the above Competitive Written Examinations will be held as per
the revised schedule mentioned below:

1. Typist - 19.06.2016 FN
2. Junior Auditor - 19.06.2016 AN
3. Assistant Draughtsman - 19.06.2016 AN
4. Junior Assistant /Accounts - 27.08.2016 FN
5. Tester Chemical - 27.08.2016 FN
6. Field Assistant (Trainee) - 27.08.2016 AN
7. Steno-Typist - 27.08.2016 AN
8. Junior Assistant / Administration - 28.08.2016 FN
9. Technical Assistant / Electrical - 28.08.2016 AN
10. Technical Assistant / Mechanical - 28.08.2016 AN
Further, the Competitive Written Examinations for the 6 posts already mentioned under Notification No.2/16 dt 29.02.2016 which is proposed to be held at 31 centres (District Headquarters) will be held in the following 8 Regional centres due to administrative reasons as below:
1. Chennai 2. Coimbatore 3. Vellore 4. Villupuram 5. Erode 6. Thiruchirapalli 7. Madurai 8. Tirunelveli All the other conditions remain unaltered.
