National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM) is a research organisation of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. The organisation is looking for following Project Staff for some of its projects on Contract basis. 1. Young Professional (Level-III-HTL 1) - 02 Vacancy

Salary: 35,000/- 

Essential Qualification / Experience / Expertise required: 

1. First Class Masters degree in Remote sensing or equivalent (or) First Class Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Technology preferably in Geo Informatics / Remote Sensing / GIS or equivalent and 

2. Three years of relevant experience in Remote Sensing GIS, Statistical software. Experience in HTL/ LTL/ CRZ/ CZMP mapping procedures

Nature of Work: Field data collection, compilation and CZMP GIS database creation

2. Young Professional (Level-II-HTL 2) - 02 Vacancy

Salary: 35,000/-

3. Desirable: Knowledge / Experience in coastal water/sediment/air quality analysis.

Nature of Work: Extensive Field work for sample collection along the coast of India; Analysis of coastal environmental samples

14. Junior Research Fellow (JRF 1) - 01 Vacancy

Salary: 16,000/-

1.First class Master’s degree in Science relating to Inorganic chemistry/ Analytical/ Marine/ Environmental Chemistry or Marine biology or its equivalent from a recognized University 

2.Desirable: Knowledge / Experience on coastal water quality analysis. 

Nature of Work: Extensive Field work for sample collection along the coast of India; Analysis of environmental samples

15. Project Scientist II (PS 2) - 01 Vacancy

Salary: 45,000/-

1.First Class Master’s degree in Oceanography/ Marine Sciences/Environme ntal Sciences with THREE years of relevant experience (or) First Class M. Tech in Earth Science and Technology/ Ocean Engineering or equivalent with TWO years of relevant research experience 

2.Desirable: Ph.D. in related subject with experience in weather/ocean modeling system. Hands on experience in various numerical models, simulations in parallel program with post processing tools like GrADS, Matlab and CDO in the Linux/Unix operating system platform. 

Nature of Work: Assisting Scientists in executing the project tasks based on numerical model simulations

16. Young Professional (Admin) (HR 1) - 02 Vacancy

Salary: 20,562/-

1. Graduate with one year of experience in Administration/ HR process. 

2. Candidate having experience in a research/Govt. organisation will be preferred. 

Nature of Work: Be a part of the Administration /HR team and perform the day to day activities

CONDITIONS FOR APPLICATIONS:

1. Before appearing for the walk-in, candidate needs to submit his/her application online in the website http://www.ncscm.res.in/

2. Candidate appearing for the walk-in interview should produce the hard copy of the online application along with necessary documents, photograph and signature. 

3. NCSCM will not provide any facility for online registration and/or taking printout or photocopies. 

4. The walk-in candidate, needs to attend certificate verification, followed by a personal interview as per the schedule given below.

5. The candidate is required to produce the following documents in proof of education / experience for verification. 
  • SSLC / 10th or equivalent 
  • Proof is support of Educational qualification (Provisional/Degree Certificate) [Note: Mere production of mark sheets will not be considered for verification] 
  • Proof is support of work or research experience (Experience/Service certificate) (For current employment, offer letter may be produced at the time of walk-in, however experience/relieving letter needs to be produced while joining, if selected) 
6. The candidate needs to carry the original of all the relevant certificate(s) for verification and a copy for submission. 
  • For the purpose of verification, only original documents will be considered. Photocopies, even if, attested will not be considered. 
7. Candidate who fails to satisfy, any of the conditions for application as stated above, will not be allowed to attend the certificate verification or interview, as the case may be. Candidates, who had not cleared the certificate verification process, will not be allowed to attend the interview. Late comers will not be entertained.
