உலக அழகிப்போட்டி 2016: ஸ்டெபானி டெல் வல்லே பட்டம் வென்றார்
Miss World 2016 எனப்படும் உலக அழகிப்போட்டி அமெரிக்காவின் மேரி லேண்டில் உள்ள அக்சான் கில் நகரில் (18.12.2016) நடந்தது. இது 66-வது உலக அழகிப் போட்டி ஆகும். 2016 உலக அழகிப் பட்டத்தை போர்ட்டோ ரிக்கோவைச் சேர்ந்த 19 வயது ஸ்டெபானி டெல் வல்லே வென்றுள்ளார்.

இந்தியாவின் சார்பில் பங்கேற்ற பிரியதர்ஷினி சேட்டர்ஜி முதல் 20 இடங்களில் வந்தாலும் அடுத்த சுற்றில் தோல்வியடைந்து 18-வது இடத்தைப் பிடித்தார். உலக அழகியாக தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட இவருக்கு 2015-ம் ஆண்டு பட்டம் வென்ற ஸ்பெயின் அழகி மிரேயா லலாகுனா கிரீடம் சூட்டினார்.
Miss World 2016 Winner
Miss World 2016, was the 66th edition of the Miss World pageant, held on 18 December 2016 in MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States, just south of Washington, D.C. 117 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. This was the second time that the United States hosted the pageant. Mireia Lalaguna of Spain crowned her successor Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico at the end of the event.
Stephanie Valle is a pre-law and communications student at Pace University in New York City. She said it was an "honor and a great responsibility" to represent her island on an international stage.

She represented Puerto Rico at Miss World 2016 pageant which was held in Washington, D.C. United States on December 18, 2016 where she crowned Miss World 2016 and this is the second time Puerto Rico won Miss World crown.

About Stephanie Del Valle
Stephanie del Valle Díaz (born December 30, 1996) is a Puerto Rican musician, model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss World 2016 in Washington, D.C. United States. She is the second Miss World from Puerto Rico. She previously won Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico 2016.
Career
Del Valle is attending Pace University in New York City for a BA majoring in communication studies with a minor in pre-law. Prior to competing in beauty pageants, Del Valle was the muse to Puerto Rican fashion designer Carlos Alberto. Del Valle speaks three languages; Spanish, English, and French

Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico 2016
Stephanie competed in the Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico 2016 pageant representing the municipality of Toa Baja where she won the Talent competition and won the title.
